Register helpers

A register helper is a parent you've trusted to take the attendance register for any class running today. Useful for busy sessions where you're coaching and can't manage a tablet at the same time, or for multi-court sessions where a second person handles sign-in.

Granting helper access

  1. Go to Settings → Register helpers.
  2. You'll see a list of all parents registered on your club.
  3. Click Grant next to the parent you want to make a helper.

The permission takes effect immediately. To remove it, click Remove on the same page.

What a helper can do

Once granted, the parent sees a Take register → card on their portal dashboard. Tapping it takes them to the standard Attendance picker, where they can:

  • Open the kiosk for any class running today.
  • Tap students to mark them present or absent.

Helpers cannot view payment information, student records, or any coach-only pages. They can only access the attendance kiosk.

What a helper cannot do

  • Access classes on past or future dates (kiosk only, not historical records).
  • Add or remove students.
  • View payments, messages, or settings.

Removing helper access

Go to Settings → Register helpers and click Remove. The button on the parent's dashboard disappears immediately on next page load.
